When her childhood sweetheart, now the village head, demands her silence, muffled sobs echo from the ancestral shrine's cellar—exposing a grisly ritual masquerading as an exorcism. As the death toll rises and the curse takes hold, Lin must navigate a labyrinth of science and sorcery, unaware her own name is the final entry on the sacrificial registry for the next blood moon.
