Xia Mingyuan, the 'Hero Captain' of Daxia Airlines with 40 years of safe flight experience, is pushed out of his main position by his newly promoted junior Lin Chuan, who claims he's 'too old', and becomes a ground instructor before retirement. Just as he mourns his 'career end', Lin Chuan's flight suddenly faces a fatal crisis: engine failure and route deviation, throwing the crew into chaos. At this critical moment, Xia Mingyuan volunteers to board the plane. Using his lifelong experience, he controls the aircraft, calms the panicked passengers, and resolves conflicts with Lin Chuan. In the end, he safely lands with all 128 people on board. This 'retired and rehired' comeback not only restores his dignity but also makes everyone realize that a true hero is never defeated by age.
