Near You, Far Away Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a solo girl, grows succulents on her old building’s balcony. She often finds some leaves tilted but never sees the neighbor across. Chen Mo, a programmer, works overtime till midnight, typing code while gazing at the warm light from the opposite balcony. One day, he picks up a succulent she dropped, writes a note but hesitates to slip it into her mailbox. They shared the same rain eaves and morning sun, yet never met—until Xiaoman decides to move. Holding her last succulent, she bumps into Chen Mo with a parcel downstairs. The falling note reads: "I took care of your succulent for three days." Turns out the farthest distance is: you live right across, but it took me 300 days to dare say the first word to you.
