The Childhood Kiss on the Lip

The Childhood Kiss on the Lip Plot:

Struggling cartoonist Lin Xiaoman is stuck on a “childhood sweethearts’ kiss” plot. Rummaging through her childhood diary, she realizes Gu Xingye—her secret crush for ten years—just returned yesterday. The once cold top student who used to hide her fruit candies but call her “clumsy” is standing downstairs with her lost glass marble. When she stutters, “Why are you here?”, Gu wipes the cake crumb from her lip, his voice as soft as a childhood midnight whisper: “To finish the ‘childhood sweethearts’ kiss’ you left undrawn in your draft.” Yesterday she wrote, “If Gu Xingye kisses me, I’ll turn into a glowing firework.” Today he’s here to make it real? But when his lips gently touch hers, Lin suddenly understands—she’s not writing the story; the candy wrappers, marbles, and every peek behind the tree in their childhood have long written their ending into the wind.
