Orphan's Funeral Noodles Attract the Chef God, Who Cries and Calls Her Granddaughter
Orphan's Funeral Noodles Attract the Chef God, Who Cries and Calls Her Granddaughter Plot:
Orphan Lin Xiaoman's adoptive father passed away, leaving her penniless for the funeral. She cooked for villagers to earn money, and her "Adoptive Father's Bone Soup Noodles"—made with her father's old bone broth—was so heartwarming that it drew Zhou Henian, a chef god who had retired for a decade. Zhou bought a bowl for 5,000 yuan, but the first bite made him burst into tears—it was exactly the dish his missing daughter Zhou Ning used to make! It turned out that Zhou Ning, who ran away from a forced marriage, was saved by Xiaoman's father and passed the noodle recipe to Xiaoman before her death. When Zhou found Xiaoman cooking noodles at her father's grave, he hugged her and cried, "Granddaughter!" Xiaoman finally got a family and inherited Zhou's cooking skills, rising from a village cook to a top chef.
