Reporter Jiang, Give Me the Status I Deserve! Plot:

Hardcore investigative journalist Jiang Wan has kept her marriage to emergency doctor Lin Yu a secret for two years, believing that “personal life could undermine her professional credibility.” Lin Yu had always understood, until he was mistaken by a patient’s family as “the single man pursuing Jiang Wan.” He squatted in the hospital corridor, called Jiang Wan (who was in the middle of an interview) via video, held up their marriage certificate, and said with a choked voice: “Reporter Jiang, you’ve fought for the ‘status’ of workers owed wages, for abandoned children—can you give me the status of ‘Mrs. Lin’ too?” Staring at his red eyes on the screen, Jiang Wan remembered the warm congee Lin Yu cooked for her during late-night deadlines, the way he shielded her from aggressive interviewees.
