Gone Like Mist and Clouds Plot:

Lin Shen, an old object restorer, runs a shop at the alley entrance, collecting "useless things" abandoned by time—rusty pens, faded love letters, chipped porcelain bowls. Until Su Wan, an amnesiac novelist, arrives with a half-burned diary, saying, "This is my only past." Restoring it, Lin finds a note he wrote at 17: "Wait till I earn enough, I’ll take you to see the mountains beyond the clouds." Su Wan is the lover he lost years ago due to poverty, but now she doesn’t even remember herself. Should he awaken the regret-filled memory, or let her start over with a blank slate? Can the fragments crushed by time piece into an unbroken ending?
