Su Wan, the youngest she-wolf alpha of Qingqiu Mountain, has just quelled a border rebellion. But upon returning, she finds her half-brother Gu Chuan—once the "little milk wolf" who followed her everywhere—smashing her Alpha Hall with a group of cubs, yelling that he’ll "take back the throne." Relying on their late father’s "protective last words," Gu Chuan causes trouble every day: replacing her prey with fawns (breaking hunting rules), spiking her wine to make her embarrass herself in front of the elders, and even colluding with jackals to ambush her. Su Wan initially dismisses it as "a kid’s tantrum," until Gu Chuan almost costs the pack their winter hunting ground. She finally snaps: she ties Gu Chuan to the Alpha Platform, pulls out his "usurpation plan," and smirks, "Want to be Alpha? Beat me in three rounds—hunting, fighting, protecting the pack. Win, and I’ll kneel to call you King."
