Listening to the Jade Break on Phoenix Terrace Plot:

Su Yuci, the top Kunqu opera actress at Phoenix Terrace—the capital's most renowned opera house—has waited three years for Gu Zhao, a border general, clinging to their engagement jade as a token of their promise. Yet what she receives is news of Gu's "death" and a threat from the powerful Lord Zhao, who forces her to become his concubine.
