He Descended from the Thick Fog Plot:

But as Xiaoman helps him recover memories, strange events plague the island: a grounded ship suddenly appears, missing fishermen reappear in the fog, and someone claims to have seen "two brothers." As the man’s memory fragments come together, Xiaoman learns the fog doesn’t just obscure the sea—it hides the truth about her brother’s "death": he didn’t disappear; he was chased by a smuggling ring to protect islanders.
