Her peaceful life shatters when Lu Qingchuan, a young architect, arrives with a demolition plan for a high-end cultural park. Their first clash: Qingchuan crushes the "Granny Lantern" Jiang Yue just finished, and she snaps through tears, "You’ve destroyed Qingchuanduo’s soul!" But as they interact, Jiang Yue finds a faded "Jiang Yue Lantern" in Qingchuan’s pocket—it was a gift from her grandfather when he was a kid, and he’s the "Little Chuanzi" who left with his mother years ago. Turns out Qingchuan came to "save" the town, but chose the worst way. When the demolition team arrives, Jiang Yue stands before him with streets of glowing lanterns: "It’s not about tearing down—it’s about letting the stories in the lanterns live with the town."
