Everything's Nine Ninety-Nine Plot:

Lonely Lao Zhou runs a grocery store named "Everything's Nine Ninety-Nine," selling nothing but old items yet never willing to talk about their origins. Until Xiao Man, a girl obsessed with finding her mother's old hairpin, bursts in and uncovers the secret hidden in Lao Zhou's old things—every item bears a "nine ninety-nine" label, a habit from his late wife, who had念叨 (kept mentioning) returning a found hairpin on her deathbed. When Xiao Man recognizes that the hairpin is exactly her mother's relic, Lao Zhou finally understands: his wife's "everything's nine ninety-nine" was meant to pass on the unfulfilled kindness forever.
