Eighteen Curves Plot:

Su Wan, raised by her grandfather, returns to her hometown—Eighteen Curves Village—after he suddenly disappears, following an old map he left behind. The mountain road here has eighteen bends, but human hearts hold even more tangled “curves”: the village doctor Lin Shen’s unexplained rejection of her, the villagers’ reluctance to talk about her grandfather, and a faded half-photo tucked in the map— the woman in it looks exactly like Su Wan. When she follows the eighteen-curve mountain road to find her grandfather’s diary hidden in the old ancestral hall, she uncovers a forty-year guilt her grandfather carried, and a life-and-death promise buried by mountain fog.
