The Stolen Tides

The Stolen Tides Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, owner of a seaside homestay, lives by the "tide schedule"—a promise her boyfriend Gu Chuan left before disappearing three years ago, vowing to return. Until one day, the tides go haywire: fish die en masse, tourists cancel bookings, and her homestay teeters on the brink of collapse. Then Shen Shi, a self-proclaimed oceanographer, bursts in, revealing the abnormal tides are man-made—with clues leading to Gu Chuan’s unfinished "tidal energy project." Torn between missing Gu Chuan and doubting him, Xiaoman joins Shen Shi to uncover the truth: Gu Chuan faked his disappearance to stop villains from using the project to destroy the town. Now the villains are back to "steal" the town’s tidal rhythm. Xiaoman must find Gu Chuan before the last tide cycle—and reclaim the seaside’s "heartbeat."
