Those Years We Ganged Up on Cultivators Plot:

Village boy Lin Xiaofan and his childhood friends A Qiang and A Zhu were cheated out of their three-year candy money by fake cultivator Zhou Wuji when they were kids, and even called "worthless without spiritual roots". Ten years later, Lin learned to spot scams, A Qiang became a martial arts coach in the village, and A Zhu mastered using herbs to prank people. They reunite just as Zhou returns to cheat the villagers again, even trying to kidnap A Zhu's sister.
