Su Wan, who worked overtime until midnight, bought a withered rose at the old alley. Unexpectedly, a blood-stained note fell from the stem—it was the handwriting of Lin Shen, her ex-boyfriend who had been missing for three years: "Wait for you at the old bookstore at 10 p.m. tonight." Following her memory, she found the "Guixu Bookstore" which should have closed down long ago. When she pushed the door open, the copper bell rang sharply, and the man looking up from behind the counter was exactly Lin Shen. But there was no familiarity in his eyes; instead, he handed her a diary with a charred cover: "Miss, this is what you left behind." Turning to the last page, the date was clearly tonight, ending with the rose they drew when they first met. Outside the window, in the rain, stood another "Su Wan" soaked to the skin...
