Little Ginseng Fairy in the General's Mansion Plot:

Centennial ginseng spirit Xiao Can descends to earth as a maid in the General's Mansion to repay Gu Zhao, the young master, who once watered her with dew in his childhood. However, she arrives just as the mansion is in dire straits: Gu Zhao is framed for treason by his cousin and thrown into prison, the old madam falls into a coma from anxiety, and the entire family faces execution and property seizure. Xiao Can uses her ginseng qi to sustain the old madam's life and creates illusions to expose the corrupt official's fake evidence, all while hiding her secret—her fingertips glow with ginseng light. But Gu Zhao always finds her familiar: "Your fresh scent is exactly like the ginseng I saved on the mountain years ago..." As her magic fades from overuse, Xiao Can must choose between revealing her identity and saving the General's Mansion. Meanwhile, Gu Zhao finally realizes that the "plant" he saved casually years ago is the "person" he wants to protect most in his life.
