A Shovel and a Pack of Cigarettes Plot:

Chen Mo, a down-and-out young man, sneaks into the mountains to dig for gold with an old shovel to raise money for his mother's surgery, surviving each day on a pack of cheap cigarettes. One day, he finds a rusty iron box with a map marked "the real gold mine", which attracts the pursuit of Li Hu, the bully who controls the village's mines. As Chen Mo evades capture and deciphers the map, he discovers a shocking secret: the map belongs to his father, a geologist who disappeared ten years ago after exposing Li Hu's father for embezzling gold mines. Now, Chen Mo must protect the map (his mother's last hope) while uncovering the truth about his father—just as Li Hu and his men close in on his shelter...
