Embers Still Burn Plot:

Forensic scientist Su Wan lost her father a decade ago—he fell to his death while investigating a serial murder case that remains unsolved. Ten years later, a new murder with the exact same modus operandi emerges, and the suspect is Lin Shen, son of the man her father once identified as the “killer”. As a defense lawyer, Lin Shen insists his father was wrongfully accused and demands Su Wan re-examine the old evidence; Su Wan, determined to clear her father’s name, is forced to work with him.
