Chimney Smoke and You Through the Years
Chimney Smoke and You Through the Years Plot:
Su Wan, the chef at "Wanxiangju"—a small alley restaurant—keeps her late mother's legacy alive with her lost recipe for "Cloud Shadow Braised Pork". But she suddenly receives a demolition notice from Quancheng Group, a business giant led by Gu Siyan, the notoriously cold and ruthless CEO. Determined to save her shop, Su Wan bursts into Gu's office, only to uncover his secret: he's been secretly eating her braised pork for half a year and even has her mother's old photo locked in his drawer. It turns out Gu's childhood was warmed by Su's mother's cooking, and he returned to find that "taste of home"—the demolition plan was just a clumsy excuse to get close to her. When the cold CEO humbles himself to learn cooking, and the stubborn chef sees the tenderness in his eyes, a sweet love story mediated by food is simmering in the alley's chimney smoke. The most touching confession isn't flowers—it's "I've been eating your food secretly for half a year, and I want to cook porridge with you for a lifetime."
