Looking Back from the Abyss
Looking Back from the Abyss Plot:
Lin Chuan, a corporate slave earning 3,000 RMB a month, died from overwork but woke up in the "Abyss Interface"—a parallel space connecting past and present—bound to the "Retrospect System": he must help people trapped in the "Obsession Abyss" resolve their regrets to return to the real world. His first target? Su Wan, the goddess he secretly loved in college! Su Wan is stuck in a loop reliving the pain of missing a study abroad opportunity due to sabotage. While using system props to reverse her fate, Lin Chuan deals with absurd obsession holders: an ancient scholar wanting to get into Tsinghua, a Republic-era lady trying to save her cat, even a grandma longing to take a photo with her idol! Worse, he discovers his "sudden death" was no accident, and behind Su Wan's obsession lies a cultivation secret about his past life... When a corporate slave meets a system, and unrequited love meets obsession—Is this "look back from the abyss" about redeeming others, or saving himself?
