General, Please Stay
General, Please Stay Plot:
Su Wanwan, a neglected concubine's daughter of the prime minister's mansion, is tricked by her stepmother into marrying General Gu Zhao, the "Northern Town General" rumored to have "killed three fiancées". She plans to escape but discovers the general's hidden soft side—leaving her warm congee while reading military books late at night, bringing her favorite candied dates from the battlefield, and even taking a poisoned wine for her to block her stepmother's scheme. When the prime minister's conspiracy to collude with the enemy is exposed, the truth about Gu Zhao's "fiancée-killing" is revealed: his previous fiancées were murdered by the enemy, and he's been investigating secretly. Su Wanwan decides to stay, joining Gu Zhao to uncover the conspiracy and protect their homeland. From a "runaway concubine's daughter" to "General's Wife", she not only逆袭s but also gains a mutual love.
