How I Long to Hold You Plot:

Lin Xiaoman’s world shatters when her three-year live-in boyfriend Gu Chuan abruptly ends their relationship. She’s just beginning to move on when she encounters him in a wheelchair at the hospital—Gu Chuan was diagnosed with ALS and chose to push her away in the cruelest way possible, fearing he’d become her burden.
