In the late 1980s, in a small town in southern Yunnan, Lin Chuan, a poor young man whose parents died early, makes a living by collecting waste to support his seriously ill sister. However, he is chased and beaten for exposing the fake raw stone scam of the village head's son. Accidentally hitting his head, he awakens a superpower—he can see through raw stones to find jade inside and even read people's minds!
