Tribe's Glory

Tribe's Glory Plot:

Archaeology graduate Lin Xia returns to the remote Ayi Tribe in southwest China to fulfill her grandmother's last wish, only to find the tribe—once proud of its "harmony with nature"—on the brink of division. Her cousin Ayan wants to demolish the old village for a tourist resort, while the elders cling to tradition but are powerless. Then, the silver totem left by her grandmother reveals clues about the "Tribe's Glory." Lin Xia decides to revive the Spring Festival Ritual, lost for a decade, and during preparation, discovers that "glory" was never gold or silver—it’s the ancestral belief of "coexisting with the mountains" etched in their bones. When the ritual bonfire reignites, Ayan finally sees: true glory is holding onto one’s roots before moving forward.
