Cultivation Begins with Taking Care of My Junior Brother's Taoist Partner in Hehuan Sect Plot:

Lin Shen, an outer sect disciple of Hehuan Sect with mediocre talent, was only ever shown kindness by his junior brother Lu Yunchuan, who once saved his life. But Lu Yunchuan died mysteriously during a secret realm mission, and on his deathbed, he entrusted his Taoist partner—Su Wantang, the cold and pure Saintess of Hehuan Sect—to Lin Shen. Lin Shen intended to keep his promise, only to discover the sect was plotting to sacrifice Su Wantang's “Pure Yin Saint Body” to resurrect the old sect master! To protect her, Lin Shen hid his true strength, pretending to “take care of” her while secretly investigating Lu Yunchuan's death. As they spent time together, Su Wantang's cold exterior softened, and Lin Shen accidentally activated his dormant “Chaotic Spirit Root” from frequent contact with her Saint Body, making his cultivation progress by leaps and bounds. When the sect's conspiracy neared success, Lin Shen finally fought back: he would shatter the sect's cruel rules, avenge his junior brother, and most importantly, protect Su Wantang—forging their own path of cultivation together...
