Every Longing Has Its Return Plot:

Nian Gui, owner of the "Gui Qi Bookstore" in the old alley, persists in responding to the "unmailed letters" on the wall—a promise she made with Chen Mo, her lover who vanished seven years ago. One day, Chen Mo arrives in a suit with a woman, saying he wants to buy the bookstore. Nian Gui forces herself to stay calm, but when sorting through old items, she finds Chen Mo's un_sent letter from years ago: "When I earn enough money, I'll come back to run Gui Qi with you."
