The Listener Under the Uniform Plot:

Subway security inspector Lin Xiaoman has an unknown "superpower"—she can hear the "voices" of items in passengers' luggage: a crumpled cancer diagnosis is crying, an old doll is searching for its lost little owner, and an unsent love letter hides ten years of secret crush. Until she touches a cold urn, from which comes a girl's murmur: "I really wanted to watch the seaside sunset with him." The urn's owner is the taciturn Chen Mo, who holds his girlfriend's photo and says he's taking her "home." Lin Xiaoman struggles with whether to tell the truth, but just then, her secret is caught by a colleague—she's gently comforting a suitcase. Between the desire to help Chen Mo make up for his regret and the fear of being seen as a "weirdo," how will she choose? And can the pain hidden behind Chen Mo's indifference be resolved by "listening"?
