Urban office worker Lin Xiaoman quits her job and returns to her hometown village after a nervous breakdown from overwork, only to gain the unexpected ability to understand animals! The village dog Old Huang rants about fake sausages at the corner store, the neighbor’s cat exposes its owner’s hidden savings, and even the pond fish cry about “toxic water” in their home.
