Touch Her? Ask My Wok First!
Touch Her? Ask My Wok First! Plot:
Gu Huai, a reclusive master chef, owns a "magic wok"—whoever it touches must tell the truth, and the soup it simmers can heal emotional wounds. His only weakness? Su Wan, his ex-fiancée who ran away from their wedding five years ago. Now Su Wan, a down-and-out designer, is harassed by her CEO ex-husband: her studio is about to be destroyed, and she’s even pushed into a table corner. Gu Huai arrives with his wok, slams it on the ground: "Touch her? Ask my wok first!" But Su Wan shouts through tears: "Why didn’t you chase me back then?" It turns out Su Wan fled to protect his chef legacy. This time, Gu Huai’s wok isn’t for soup—it’s for simmering a "regret remedy" to win her back. He’ll use the wok to expose her ex’s plots, melt the ice between them, and finally say the "I do" he missed five years ago—one bowl of congee at a time.

Now one wants to demolish an old house to expand the courtyard, while the other insists on protecting the ancestral hall and its century-old murals. Amid Lingnan's early spring breeze, the conflicting pair rediscovered the unsent love letter in the notebook and the old memories hidden in kapok petals. When the tea smoke from "Chunzaoju" mingled with the camphor scent of the ancestral hall, they realized: what's worth keeping isn't the old walls, but the unspoken words—"I've been waiting for you".
