Little Yama, My Unexpected Baby Plot:

Lin Wan, an emergency doctor, returns home after an all-night shift to find a pigtailed kid with a sugar-coated hawthorn squatting at the entrance. The little one, A Zhao, holds a tattered Book of Life and Death and says in a baby voice: "Sister, I'm Little Yama! You have three days left—help me fulfill three ghosts' wishes, or we'll both be punished to sweep the 18th hell by Yama Grandpa!" Lin Wan thinks he's a naughty kid until A Zhao waves his hand, making her see a dying patient's ghost: "Granny Zhang's longevity lock is on the hospital rooftop—get it back." From then on, Lin Wan saves lives by day and does "ghost missions" with A Zhao by night—helping a pancake seller find his long-lost daughter, delivering a final love letter for a suicidal student... But just as she calls A Zhao "baby" and holds him close, Black Impermanence breaks in: "Little Yama altered the Book of Life and Death—we need to take him back!" Lin Wan cries uncontrollably, only to find a longevity lock from A Zhao's pocket—the exact one she bought three years ago for her aborted baby. Turns out A Zhao is her unborn child, who snuck back just to "be Mom's kid once." Then Yama's voice echoes: "The obsession is gone—your fate has just begun..."
