May the Jinse Play a Peaceful Tune Plot:

Ning An, a guqin restorer, travels far and wide to find the lost sheet music of the “Jinse” guqin to fulfill her grandmother's last wish, only to stumble into the bamboo cottage of Gu Shen, a reclusive qin maker. This guqin, which Gu Shen sees as a “taboo,” holds an unspoken love from the past—Gu Shen's master sealed the farewell letters of a couple into the qin to save them during the war, but lived with lifelong regret. Ning An's persistence opens Gu Shen's sealed wounds, and makes him hear the true voice of the “Jinse”: not the echo of regret, but someone willing to turn an unfinished story into present peace with you. When the ancient strings play again, the two people trapped by the qin finally catch each other's “wish.”
