Long Song of the Years

Long Song of the Years Plot:

Su Xiaoman, an old object restorer, takes on a Republican-era piano. Inside the lid, she finds a yellowed half-childhood photo—of her and Lin Shen, the “little pianist” next door from her childhood. Coincidentally, the piano’s owner is Lin Shen, a genius conductor who just returned from abroad to fulfill his grandmother’s last wish of retrieving his childhood piano. When Su Xiaoman stands backstage at the concert hall with the photo, Lin Shen’s fingers still smell of rosin from his baton—after twenty years, the fate crumpled by time is finally about to be re-composed into a complete song in the lingering sound of the old piano.
