Spring Tide at Bie Harbor Plot:

In the coastal fishing village of Bie Harbor in southern China, Lin Xiaoman has kept her mother’s “Chaowei Restaurant” running for seven years—until Chen Mo, the boy who once promised to “take her beyond the horizon,” suddenly returns. Now a marine scientist in a white coat, he’s promoting a “land reclamation for observation station” project that threatens the fishermen’s livelihoods. Xiaoman confronts him with a kitchen shovel, only to catch sight of the old scar on his neck—from a fishing line that cut him while saving her years ago. Meanwhile, Chen Mo squats at the dock late at night, smoking, with seven years of unsent letters in his phone. As the spring high tide season approaches, will it wash away their seven-year-old grievances, or roll up the years apart into a wave of reunion?
