I'm Fine in the Countryside

I'm Fine in the Countryside Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, an internet worker, collapses from workplace PUA and flees to her late grandma's old rural house to “slack off”, only to be targeted by Gu Chuan, her “grumpy neighbor”—accused of “stealing” his water spinach, given the cold shoulder for using his threshing ground to dry quilts, even her stray cat competes with him for dried fish. But as they get along, she learns Gu Chuan was once a prominent architect who retreated to the countryside to punish himself after a project accident that cost his friend's life. Xiaoman uses her “laid-back philosophy” to break through his defenses, while Gu Chuan teaches her to recognize wild vegetables and repair fences. Amidst chaotic daily life, they gradually understand that “I'm fine” isn't fake strength—it's daring to face the past and love life again.
