Both the Spring Breeze and I Are Passersby Plot:

Lin Shen lost his sight saving his wife Su Xiaohan from a glass explosion—shards embedding in his eyes. Over five years, Su went from a devoted caregiver who fixed his meds every night, to a stranger who rolled her eyes at his fumbling hands. The day his corneal transplant restored his vision, he rushed home with a diamond ring he’d saved half a year’s salary for—only to catch Su in her boss’s arms on their couch. He tossed the ring in the trash, left a note saying “I’m gone,” and vanished. Three years later, Lin returned as CEO of an ophthalmology group, attending a charity gala with the volunteer who once guided him. When Su saw his now elegant figure, memories of her saying “you’re a burden” hit her. She knelt at his feet, sobbing “I’m sorry.” But Lin just handed her a glass of warm water and said softly: “When I was blind, all I wanted wasn’t to see again—it was you saying ‘I’ll stay with you.’”
