Snow-Covered Eastern Courtyard Plot:

The snow-sealed Eastern Courtyard in deep winter is the only remaining old residence of the fallen Shen family. Shen Zhaozhao, the young lady, has to rent the courtyard to Gu Heng—a mysterious man with a half-silver mask—to raise money for her critically ill mother. However, on his first night, Gu Heng digs up a bronze box buried in the courtyard for ten years, which contains a handwritten letter from Zhaozhao's missing father.
