Father Like a Mountain
Father Like a Mountain Plot:
Zhou Dashan, a pork seller who has worked in the market for ten years, is regarded by neighbors as a "rough man who only wields a butcher's knife". His son Xiaoyu is always mocked by school bullies for having a "pork-selling dad". One day, Xiaoyu is surrounded in an alley and forced to imitate a pig's cry. When he resists, he hits his forehead on a brick and bleeds profusely. When Zhou Dashan arrives and sees his son huddled in the corner, the secret he has hidden for ten years can no longer be contained—he was once "Mountain Wolf" of the military special forces, who retired to sell pork after being injured while saving a comrade. While the bullies are still taunting "Pig Dad", Zhou Dashan grabs the bully's wrist with a reverse grip. The fierceness engraved in his bones panics the bullies instantly. But when he squats down to hug his son, his voice softens like melted lard: "Dad isn't afraid of trouble. I'm just afraid my past isn't worthy of the 'Dad' you call."
