Love and Resentment Drift Away with the Wind

Love and Resentment Drift Away with the Wind Plot:

Restoration expert Su Wan returns to her hometown to repair the ancient town’s ancestral hall, only to reunite with Gu Chengfeng—her ex-boyfriend who vanished five years ago, now the architect of the town’s renovation project. Su Wan’s unresolved grudge over Gu’s sudden disappearance leads to constant clashes: she accuses him of heartlessness, while Gu avoids the truth of that year. As they restore an old mural in the hall, a yellowed letter behind it reveals the secret—Gu had to leave for an arranged marriage abroad to raise money for Su’s critically ill father. When the misunderstanding clears, they stand under the old locust tree. The past love and resentment drift away like locust flowers into the soil, and the uncooled light in their eyes makes them realize: what deserves the most cherishment is the heart still here, right in front of them.
