When the Night Trembles Plot:

Lin Wan, an insomniac publishing editor, visits a深夜-only bakery at the alley’s end every night for a sea salt bread. Lu Shi, the quiet owner, always has a fresh loaf ready the moment she pushes the door—flour on his knuckles, eyes soft like sugar kneaded into dough. Until one night, she finds a note in her bread: “Tonight’s wind tastes just like the end of that summer”—a line she wrote in her travel journal before losing her memory. When she pulls out the old photo album from the bottom of her drawer, there’s Lu Shi, holding the same bread, smiling beside 22-year-old her. All those “perfect” late-night meetings? They’re just a man spending three years by the oven, keeping the bread warm, waiting for his amnesiac lover to find her way back to “us.”
