Moonlight Ferries Me to the Star River Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a late-night convenience store clerk, guards the "Moonlight Mailbox" left by her deceased sister. For three years, she’s only received one letter from "Gu Xingyao"—her fiancé who supposedly died in a space mission. The letter says he’s trapped in the "gap between moonlight and the star river" and can only return with the moonstone they used as a token of love. When Xiaoman stands under the dome of the old planetarium with the moonstone, she discovers the silent old man from the store is a guardian of star orbits, the blind girl who always buys hot cocoa can "see" the tears of the galaxy, and even the moonlight that shines into the mailbox every night is a "signpost" Gu Xingyao sent across thousands of light-years. She’s willing to bet all her late-night waits for a miracle where "moonlight carries me to your side"—but the galaxy never makes things easy. Is Gu Xingyao’s return a reunion, or the start of another goodbye?
