Voice of the Otherworld: How My Goofy Brother Tricked Me into Becoming a God
Voice of the Otherworld: How My Goofy Brother Tricked Me into Becoming a God Plot:
Lin Yang, a 996 corporate slave, has always been driven crazy by his younger brother Lin Xiaomeng—super strong but perpetually stuck in his middle school phase, even able to bend a bubble tea straw into a steel rod. But when he helps Xiaomeng retrieve a comic book from a sewer, the two are transported to the Yunque Otherworld, where sound energy reigns supreme! To make matters worse, the "Voice God System" bound to Lin Yang can only be activated by his brother’s "trouble-making index"! To unlock abilities, Xiaomeng goes all out: stealing the lord’s ancestral golden microphone as a toy, forcing Lin Yang to use a screech to fend off ten times as many pursuers—accidentally activating the "Screech Shockwave"; recording Lin Yang’s rants about his boss and broadcasting them as "divine oracles," drawing believers who worship him as the "God of Sound"; even turning Lin Yang’s "overtime roar" into a "healing anthem," making insomnia-plagued elves line up overnight begging for a "scolding." Lin Yang goes from a miserable "victim of chaos" to the "Voice God" who can shatter mountains with a single shout. But when he finally gains the chance to return to reality, he discovers a secret behind Xiaomeng’s "clumsy mischief"—Xiaomeng had known all along: this otherworld was where his brother could finally "stop suppressing his true self."
