Lin Xiaoman and Chen Mo were high school sweethearts—until Chen Mo died saving her from a car accident eight years ago. On the eighth anniversary of his death, she finds Chen Mo’s old pocket watch; its hands suddenly spin backward, and she’s transported back to the summer night before the accident—Chen Mo is still standing at the alley, wiping rain from her face. But every time she crosses time, a piece of her memory fades, and Chen Mo’s fate always resets before “that crash”: either she’s too late, or he still pushes her away to take the hit.
