Badass Female Bodyguard Plot:

Retired special forces soldier Lin Sa takes on the task of protecting sharp-tongued cartoonist Gu Ming to repay a comrade's favor—Gu Ming is being hunted by a profit group for exposing plagiarism in the animation industry. Lin Sa uses her hardcore combat skills to defuse crises like car chases and anonymous poisoning, only to find photos of her comrade who went missing three years ago in Gu Ming's computer. They start from a bickering dynamic of "cold-faced bodyguard vs. sarcastic employer" and gradually become partners who "fight back-to-back for survival." When dark forces close in, they must uncover the truth about their comrade's disappearance and defend the belief of "protecting one's original intention with courage—and in this "badass protection," unspoken affection has long been quietly hidden.
