Su Wan, an inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in an ancient town, guards the old academy left by her grandfather. She encounters Lin Shen, an architect tasked with renovating the town—once the little boy who flew river lanterns with her by the river, now the 「enemy」 who wants to demolish the academy. Reunited across the old bridge by the river, Su Wan sends river lanterns into the water for the Lin Shen in her memories, while Lin Shen can only secretly release the same lanterns on the other side, afraid to admit he’s the 「destroyer」. Love is an invisible border; they gaze at each other, wondering whether to cross the bridge—to hold onto the 「old」 in their hearts, or gamble on a 「new」 possibility?
