Zhou Fugui, an old watch repairman in the alley, has run a shabby shop for thirty years. Convinced Zhou is the thief who stole the seal years ago, Lin searches for evidence and finds a yellowed photo: 20-year-old Zhou squatting by the road, handing hot porridge to a ragged Mr. Lin. It turns out that when Mr. Lin went bankrupt and tried to jump into the river, Zhou saved him and used all his savings to help him make a comeback.
