Start with a Knife 2: From Death Row to Regent
Start with a Knife 2: From Death Row to Regent Plot:
Modern office worker Lin Mo died from staying up late binge-watching dramas, only to wake up as Lin Que—a death row inmate in the Great Chu Dynasty, framed for treason and sentenced to execution the next day. A rusty knife clutched in his hand, a system suddenly activated: "Host must use this knife to complete 'break the situation' missions; each kill unlocks a skill." To survive, he hacked open the cell door and accidentally rescued Su Wantang, the chancellor's daughter hunted by a corrupt minister. Mistaking him for a "jianghu hero," she insisted on following him to "uphold justice." While dealing with the system's quirky tasks (like chopping the corrupt minister's ivory fan to expose his greed, or smashing the emperor's fake jade seal to reveal his incompetence), he evades pursuers. Unexpectedly, he quells rebellions, takes down villains, and enters the court—transforming from a death-row outcast to the powerful Regent of Chu. Along the way, he even "chopped" Su Wantang into his princess consort. Turns out, the sharpest knife isn't for cutting people—it's for cutting through fate.
