Mother's Calling Plot:

Successful career woman Lin Xia returns to her hometown after a decade upon hearing her estranged mother is critically ill. But when she opens the creaky door, she finds her mother cheerfully cooking dinner, with the wall calendar clearly showing a date from 20 years ago. That midnight, a familiar lullaby leads her to the attic, where she discovers a diary detailing her entire future life. The last page, circled in red with today's date, bears her mother's trembling handwriting: 'This time I must save you.'
