Ruins and Lies at the End of the Race Track Plot:

Race car prodigy Chen Mo lost his right leg in a track accident three years ago. He hides in an abandoned garage assembling old race cars, becoming an "owner of ruins"—his world consists only of rusty parts and the unspoken truth about the accident. Female journalist Su Ye, investigating her brother's death (her brother was the mechanic in that accident, accused of "tampering with brakes" and then committed suicide), disguises herself as a wealthy heiress wanting to be a race car driver to approach Chen Mo, using the lie of "admiring his track talent" to extract the truth. Chen Mo sees through her disguise but plays along—he also wants to find out who framed his brother. They test each other in lies: Chen Mo uses his "damaged racing skills" to protect Su Ye from dark forces' pursuit (guarding her freedom), while Su Ye stays with the lie of "wanting to learn racing from him" and actually collects evidence to clear his name of "accident main responsibility" (melting his chains). Until Su Ye is kidnapped, Chen Mo rushes into the warehouse with his modified race car, pressing the accelerator with his disabled right leg—he never gave up on the track. Su Ye cries out the truth, and Chen Mo takes out her brother's suicide note: "Chen Mo is the only one who didn't lie." In the end, they rush past the finish line of the accident's track, exposing the team owner's dark scheme. Their "ruins"—Chen Mo's closed heart, Su Ye's revenge obsession—are rebuilt in each other's lies and truths.
