The Seventh Sweetness Plot:

Lin Xiaoman, a pastry chef, firmly believes in the existence of "the seventh sweetness"—not cloying, not bitter, but a taste that evokes the "moment of heartbeat." To create this dessert, she opens a small shop in an old alley, only to encounter Gu Chuan, a strange customer: he never eats desserts but comes every day to sit for half an hour, always criticizing her creations as "lacking warmth." Until Lin Xiaoman discovers Gu Chuan was once a genius perfumer who lost his sense of taste in an accident; meanwhile, Gu Chuan realizes that only Lin Xiaoman’s desserts can make him recall the heartbeat he felt when he first made perfume. As they search for the seventh sweetness, they heal each other’s "taste aphasia"—turns out, the sweetest flavor is never sugar, but "I understand the regret you didn’t voice."
